Raised by GOD
About
The book, Raised by God, tells the story of a girl born to a young woman with remarkable beauty. A few days after her birth, her Grandfather, a high school headmaster, went to register her birth.
However, the registrar misspelt the child's surname on the document.
When her parents discovered the error, they asked the grandfather to change it. He refused, saying, "Leave it as it is spelt in the document. The child is set apart from the rest." The girl's mother was saddened as it was her first child. However, the grandfather was the head and authority of the household, and everyone listened to him.
In a dramatic turn, the car they travelled in, met with a terrible accident. Miraculously, the family survived. The child died and was brought back to life. An Angel of God rescued her.
This part-memoir is about strength, resilience and faith when confronted with adversity. The author has written beautifully about the many hurdles she has surpassed to live to tell her story.
Seraphim beamed her radiance. A young and beautiful woman had given birth to a special child.
The child was a mystery.
The child brought forth beauty at the rise and set of the day, written and spoken forever by tongues who witnessed her time on Earth.
"Babies speak the words of angels," Seraphim pronounced.
As she was leaving, the host of angels accompanying her proclaimed, "Now you have to live the life of a mortal before God shows himself to you, and then, what remarkable tidings await you."
